Vocational Training Center Trakia
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Bulgaria and Cluster Trakia Economic Zone are pleased to announce the opening of Vocational Training Center Trakia on September 10th 2019 at Trakia Economic Zone, Rakovski Industrial Zone.
The Training Center is part of the integrated development plan of Trakia Economic Zone. It is to train and re-train the staff of the businesses established in the Eastern Europe’s largest and sustainably developing industrial zone. The Vocational Training Center TRAKIA is the first one on a national level to be situated in the industrial zone for serving the needs of the businesses there. According to preliminary estimates, the annual count of trainees comes over 600 people promising to keep on the rise. Trainees will improve their vocational skills making use of a top-notch equipment and teachers of premium expertise.
The honor has been requested of the prime minister Boyko Borisov to do the ribbon-cutting of this new infrastructure placed at the service of both current and prospective investors.
The Vocational Training Center TRAKIA is to enhance the following skills and knowledge:
- basic knowledge and competences in the following areas: pneumatics, electrical pneumatics, pneumatic drives and sensors in the pneumatic systems; vacuum engineering and technology, vacuum systems; electronics and electrical engineering; electrical engines, complex electrical drives, industrial controllers
- skills in the operation, maintenance and design of medium and high level automated mechatronic systems – automated manufacturing systems; industrial robots; SCADA automation systems; local and remote control of industrial processes and HVAC; building automation; energy efficiency in pneumatic systems; producing engineering and maintenance papers, literacy for handling such papers, etc.
The Vocational Training Center TRAKIA was established by the financial support of Operational Programme ‘Innovations and Competitiveness’ 2014-2020.
